About the Role
Brillion is building a new category: decision intelligence for complex, high-stakes environments. We help executives turn noise into signal, signal into decisions, and decisions into measurable outcomes. Our focus is not dashboards — it is decision quality under uncertainty.
Role Purpose
The Head of Business Development will lead Brillion’s commercial engine — owning pipeline creation, strategic partnerships, and enterprise deal execution across telecommunications, financial services, and other complex environments. This role is responsible for translating Brillion’s decision intelligence capabilities into high-value client outcomes, building C-level relationships, and driving deals from first engagement to signed production contracts.
Key Responsibilities
· Build and own a structured enterprise sales pipeline across target verticals.
· Drive enterprise deal execution from first meeting to signed production contract.
· Develop trusted relationships with C-level executives and strategic stakeholders.
· Shape executive conversations around trade-offs, governance, risk, and decision intelligence.
· Build strategic partnerships with cloud providers, system integrators, and ecosystem partners.
· Work closely with the CEO and executive team to refine commercial strategy and positioning.
· Lead commercial proposals, pilot structures, pricing conversations, and negotiation processes.
· Implement CRM discipline, pipeline governance, and measurable commercial KPIs.
· Support Brillion’s thought leadership and market positioning initiatives.
Requirements
· Minimum 15 years experience in enterprise business development or strategic sales.
· Strong track record selling enterprise software, analytics, AI, or complex consulting solutions.
· Experience managing and closing large enterprise opportunities (R5m+ preferred).
· Deep understanding of enterprise procurement and executive stakeholder management.
· Exposure to regulated sectors such as telecommunications, banking, insurance, or government.
· Ability to translate complex technical capability into commercial and operational value.
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation capability.
· Comfortable operating in a high-growth, high-ambiguity environment.
Mindset & Leadership Profile
· Systems thinker with commercial instinct.
· Able to sell outcomes, not just products.
· Comfortable shaping decisions before formal buying processes begin.
· High ownership mentality with strong execution discipline.
· Believes trust, governance, and clarity are strategic advantages.
